Hi Oliver, RE: Purchase of 17 Neville Street, Albert Park In early September we were advised of a forthcoming auction at 17 Neville Street, Albert Park by Oliver Bruce of Marshall White Real Estate, a rare warehouse conversion for the area. A client who had been with us for a number of months was looking for something unique and this property seemed to have all the requirements. Our client drove by the property before the advertising campaign started and was pleased with the initial feel and was keen to view inside once inspections commenced. We rated the property as part of our service using our key criteria. Based on the sound fundamentals of position, price and property, it gained a strong score. Open for inspections were very well attended and we were confident from having handled a number of similar styled properties that there was going to be considerable competition on the day. Whilst the agent was quoting $1,250,000 we had good comparable evidence to support the view that our client would have to pay more if they wanted to buy the property.
